The case of $m=1$ forces $a$ to be an integer thus gives us the solution $a=6$ and $c=8$. This solution was earlier obtained in the video by a slightly different approach. However, either approach works as long as you are careful in showing that $a$ and $c$ can take two or more sets of values, which then established insufficiency.
