    I suppose $“\$”$ of “$\$75,000$” in (2) could be mistype? Because it seems that 75,000 is total “number,” not ”price.”

    The $75,000$ is indeed the total number of copies sold and not the dollar amount. That is what the statement (2) in question says, and in the video I also equate that number to the $40\%$ of the total number of copies sold.
